About
Ballet is FUN! Our Children’s Ballet Program is designed for dancers ages 2–9 interested in ballet, creative movement, and jazz. With small class sizes, this enriching dance education program introduces the aspiring dancer to technical fundamentals, classroom etiquette, and art form appreciation in a personalized environment. Open registration; contact us to request a free trial class.

Students ages 2–8 (up to the Primary Ballet levels) are placed by age as of September 1. We offer free trial classes up to the Primary Ballet levels.
Students interested in Division A and above are placed by knowledge, ability, and potential via $25 Trial Class.

Vitacca offers ongoing training enrollment. Families may register ONLINE or by downloading and filling out the corresponding forms below and submitting via email (HoustonAdmin@VitaccaDance.com), mail, or in person before the first day of class.
Dancers wishing to join a Vitacca performance company must audition for review and acceptance. Auditions occur annually between April and August– please see our Auditions page for updates.
Registration Fee $65
Sibling Registration Fee $35 (per sibling) -
Division training costs (tuition) is based on a 35-week season and divided into ten payments from July through April. Tuition is invoiced on the 25th of the preceding month and late on the 2nd of the month. Exception – December installment will be invoiced on the 30th. Month to month registration is not allowed.
Tuition amounts are available on Division Registration Forms. 10 payments/installments July through April. All tuition and fees are non-refundable.

We now accept registration payments through Zelle! Scan the QR code (linked below) in your banking app to send money to pay. Please include a memo that notes what you are paying for. For online registration, please note that PayPal and online payment with a credit card incurs an event platform processing fee. Zelle payment does not incur a processing fee. Tuesday 4:45–5:15pm | Class length 30 minutes
The Toddlers and Tutus classes are fun, 30-minute sessions of play-based introduction to ballet fundamentals. Similar to our Children’s Camps, dancers enjoy practicing in tutus, listening to stories, and dancing.

Thursday 5:00–5:45pm | Class length 45 minutes
The introduction of ballet-based movement begins at this young age. Students begin developing their gross motor skills using various types of music, props, and their imagination. Students practice taking instruction, plus direction, in an enriching and artistic environment. Creative Movement classes conclude their training season with an in-school celebration performance day in May for all to enjoy.

Students explore working with others, use of space, and the introduction to ballet fundamentals. Pre-Ballet classes will not perform in the Spring production, but will have an in-school celebration performance day in May.

Must be 7 years old as of March 1, 2024Primary Ballet continues to broaden the student’s ballet vocabulary, coordination, flexibility, alignment, and classroom etiquette. Articulation of the dancer's footwork and the introduction to one-handed barre work is a focus. Students enrolled by January will be eligible to perform in the Spring Production.

*One ballet class required to enroll in JazzOur Jazz class is a fun introduction to the techniques of jazz dance. These classes provide a dynamic educational experience for young students.

Other Programming
Vitacca's Vocational Training Program is designed for classically focused dancers ages 8–18 featuring pre-professional to professional curriculum. Registration is open throughout the season via a scheduled assessment class.
