Ivan Kozlov

Ivan Kozlov is a former principal dancer with the Mariinsky Theatre, National Opera of Ukraine, the St. Petersburg Eifman Ballet, IBT (Ballet Internationale) and has performed internationally as a principal dancer with theaters such as the Bolshoi Theatre, La Scala and others. 

Ivan is the director of the Kyiv City Ballet. Ivan has staged and choreographed over 25 ballets which have been performed internationally. His work in culture and ballet has been recognized by the governments more than a dozen countries. He has taught master classes and created educational programs around Europe, the Middle East, and the US. 

His former/current students are working at such theaters as The Mikhailovsky Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, the Mariinsky Theatre, Eifman Ballet, English National Ballet, the Estonian National Ballet, the National Opera of Ukraine, Kyiv Opera Theatre, Kharkiv National Opera Theatre, the Serbian National Theatre, the National Theatre of Croatia and others. Some of his younger students are currently studying at the Vaganova Academy and the Munich Ballet Academy.

Ivan is a laureate of several international ballet competitions, including the Serge Lifar International Competition, and the X Moscow International Competition.

He has also served as a judge at the International Ballet Competition and the WBAC Grand Prix.
